McClain Arrested Again

rolando-mclain-arrested-570x379Rolando McClain signed with the Defending Super Bowl champions Baltimore Ravens not even two weeks ago and his future with the team is already in jeopardy. McClain was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest in Decatur, Alabama on Sunday. This is not his first issue with the law while in the NFL. He was involved in a shooting in Alabama in November 2011 in which he missed time with his former team the Oakland Raiders. In May of 2012 McClain was convicted of four misdemeanors; reckless endangerment, menacing, third-degree assault and firing a gun in the city limits, The charges were dropped after appealing the verdict. On January 8th of this year McClain was arrested and charged with violating rules on car window tint and trying to lie to police about his identity. He was also suspended for the first two games of last season for conduct detrimental to the team and loss his starting job midway through the season. In his three year career with Oakland he had tackles 246 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 1 interception and struggled in pass coverage.

Heat vs Bucks Recap

773111The Miami Heat defeated the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday 110-87. They now lead the series 1-0. Lebron James led the Heat with 27 points 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Ray Allen chipped in with 20 points and Dwayne Wade with 16. The Heat started out hot taking a nine point lead early in the first quarter. Then the Bucks with Brandon Jennings who led them with 26 points, kept it close in the first half only trailing by 7 at halftime. In the 3rd Miami blew the game open as they lead by as many as 25. The Heat had five players in double figures. Game two will be played on Tuesday, April 23 at 7:30 PM ET in Miami.

Super Bowl XLVII - Baltimore Ravens v San Francisco 49ersAfter four straight years of playoff defeats the Baltimore Ravens finally completed there goal and won the Superbowl. This is there 2nd in franchise history. The Ravens went adversity throughout the season including the death of Torrey Smiths brother the night before a game and the injury to Terrell Suggs who torn his achilies in the offseason and was suspected to miss the entire season but he managed to come back in week 7 but to only suffer another injury a torn bicep in week 13 that he played with for the rest of the season. Another injury was to there defensive leader Ray Lewis who tore his triceps in week 6 and was also suspected to miss the rest of the season but return for the playoffs. The Ravens also lost four of their last five games heading in to the playoffs making them not likely to have a chance at the Super Bowl but they overcame all of that to take home the Lombardi trophy.
